this is the start of my new oak tree drawing that i began early sunday morning.
as i sat on the couch drawing, shorty snuggled in next to me and we watched the movie catfish (which i recommend...the unfolding of it is quite interesting! facebook can be both a blessing and a curse at the same time...watch it and you'll see what i mean).
and as both of my girls were gone last night i made quite a bit of progress between those 2 small chunks of time. this will be one of the larger drawings i've done in awhile...15x18 when it's complete. i'm digging how it's turning out so far, so am very excited to work on it as much as i can!!

your drawing looks AMAZING - I want do some more drawing too soon (well, if I can fit it in!!!) and I LOVE the image of your cat in the top pic - absolutely priceless. Brings a complete smile to my face :)
