rainy day

 yesterday it just rained and rained...a really hard rain all day long! so for most of the day we stayed in and watched movies, eat homemade soup and i worked on my oak tree drawing. i have to say it is slow going with so much detail, but i do feel like i'm making some progress on  it. 
 and throughout the day, one or more of the animals cuddled up next to me...which is always sweet!

Kathryn, I'm so in awe of your drawing talent. I have been trying to branch out of just photography and try new art forms, but I am still so totally intimidated by any kind of drawing. I'm trying to figure out if I dislike it because I think I can't do it, or if it just isn't really my thing. It's a journey for sure. I am enjoying the rain as well, looks like more is on the way tonight....
