here are a few of the collages i've been working on lately. i could analyze why i needed to create these pieces, but i almost feel like everything i needed to get out of me i did and now i'm antsy to draw again. so much has happened in my life since i've been back from santa barbara a few weeks ago and now i am feeling a need to express myself artistically in other areas.
i'm so glad i set myself free from the prison of forcing myself to stick to one medium. i feel so much happier to be able to express myself fully in whatever way i wish to instead of feeling like i HAVE to do something a certain way...you know what i mean?!!

I love these collages you did. I find myself going back and forth from painting to crafting as almost to clear my head for the next project. I love these little breaks that end up with beautiful things~
Have a wonderful rest of your week.~Theresa
Sweet! I also love the last picture of your cat. I miss seeing what is going on here! Nice to be back. your blog looks great. xoxo
These are amazing pieces....very nicely done all of them and photographed well.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment :)
Love your collages, very inspirational! And I hear you about the "doing things a certain way" that other people sometimes seem to expect. The joy of creation communicates itself best to others when you feel it yourself. Best to live up to your own artistic expectations, especially when your goals are higher or more wondrous than the ones others would like to set for you.
